Great food is always a part of any visit to Langdale Chase.

Chef Daniel Hopkins and his team are proud to showcase many local suppliers and artisan producers on their menus, in order to bring you a true taste of the Lakes.

We’re open from early ’til late each day, so you’re welcome to pop in for a morning coffee, a spot of lunch, afternoon tea or supper, and any occasion in between too.

Choose your spot – the sunny outdoor terrace, the conservatory, the snug bar or our elegant restaurant. The views from each are simply stunning and we work hard to make sure the hospitality from the team is equally top-notch.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion the small sitting room or Oak room make the perfect venue for an intimate party, and we can tailor a menu for you with Chef to make it a celebration to remember.

Ribblesdale sheep cheese
Nutty, buttery and almost fudge like texture. This cheese is matured for around 12 months age.
The cheese is made in the manchelo style, ensuring plenty of flavour. Hand waxed in red.

Kidderton ash
Soft goats cheese rolled in ash. Produced entirely by hand, it has a creamy nutty flavour and a soft delicate texture

Yorkshires most famous cheese originally from the northern dales based on the cistercian abbeys of fountains, rivaulx and jervaulx. Brilliant white fresh and crumbly with a soft honeyed edge.

Blacksticks blue
Blacksticks blue is a unique british classic, handmade by butler’s at inglewhite dairy in rural lancashire. This soft, blue veined cheese has a delicious creamy smooth, yet tangy taste.

With quince jelly, crisp breads, amuse bouche,house chutney, grapes, celery and smoked  butter.
