A culinary experience to savour

Our panoramic Dining Room is home to classic, innovative British cooking, and has two AA Rosettes. Using the finest local produce, Executive Chef Michael Cole and his team create wonderfully distinctive dishes inspired by the Lake District and its’ coastline.

Starters

West Coast Cumbrae oysters with a classic mignonette dressing

Exmoor Oscietra caviar, free-range egg, chives, sour cream, blinis

Orkney scallop, tandoori spices, chickpea, yoghurt

Non residents are welcome but don’t leave it to chance, with a seasonally changing menu make sure you book a table whether popping in with friends or staying for the weekend.

Our talented chefs do their best to adapt our dishes to suit your dietary requirements, or where it’s not possible we’ll create you something unique with what we have in the kitchen. Please let us know when you book so we’re prepped for your arrival.
