Positioned a short walk from the Main House, with their own parking, the Lake House double rooms all look over the gardens onto Windermere and have private balconies or terraces. They offer a quiet space of your own away from the Main House in the heart of the gardens.
Each season brings a new light to the Lakehouse rooms, the vibrancy of spring and summer or the relaxing tones of autumn and winter lie before you as your eyes gaze out towards the lake.

The health benefits of cold water swimming are very well known. With our lake frontage you can step into the lake from your front door. We recommend lowering yourself in the lake slowly from our jetty to let your body acclimatise first. Extra towels are available in our reception and can be delivered to your room.
