1. Our location on the waters edge
As well as being in one of the most picturesque landscapes in the country, with uninterrupted views over Windermere towards the Langdale fells, you can simply step out of our door and stroll down the Thomas Mawson gardens right down to the waters edge. For those wanting to get in or on the water, we have two jetties to sail from or dive off.

Our people truly make Langdale Chase what it is. Whatever the Lakes throws at you you’ll always be met with a soothing smile ushering you in to relax. We try and create a home from home atmosphere, on hand when you need us and happy to let you be if you prefer.

As well as our bar, panoramic dining room and lounges soaking up all our location has to offer, we’ve also got a cinema in our cellar for movie night or to hide away from those rainy days. Above the front door you’ll discover our library, stocked with charming books ready to be enjoyed in comfortable armchairs. An evening can glide by as you’re whisked away.
